Now that all's fixed let's start explaining . Leather and cloaks ... Mayhaps because in books the vampires are old and were born centuries ago when cloaks were 'in fashion' . And leather ... That's more of a sexy element , my guess ;D It does look good on body and gives the mysterious and dramatic look . I myself do not like leather clothes (maybe jackets) but there is no telling why the writer's taste is such as it is . And about the times : I am not on very often for I have problems with the computer and I am European time (Greenwich time + 2h) . Next question Ophelia |

Mmmm... Leather... Lol. I wish cloaks were still in fashion. Not that i follow fashion. I guess modern vampires would dress pretty, erm, kinky. Well, the women anyway. That way they'd seduce men into becoming their victims.

I suppose without going over the top vampire films would get a little repetitive, just like all the zombie movies. But when you watch a film like Van Helsing it really grips you, especially the way the portrayed the vampires and their children.

And up comes the question of disbelief again , huh ? For instance you believe in the supernatural and you're wondering how can somebody not believe , but if we look from the other side - the non-believer is looking at you and wondering about how can you BELIEVE in something so irrational . But no side should be considered to have the wrong opinion and sight of life for that is useless . There is never only one truth . And by the way this is theory against praxis again . And we stand on that side which theory is harder to prove And about the movies - everything is commercial . It's easy : do you think 'Titanic' would have been a blockbuster if they'd made a movie without making that love story ? And by the way it is only thanks to Hollywood that we think of zombies as of the walking dead , which is , ofcoursley , way off of the true story underneath . Hope that settles it ! Ophelia |
