Also, I thought I should let you know that jareth has now been banned twice, on an old account and her new one. This is because of inapropriate things written in her user name on her old account and her personal title on this new account. She is free to email me to appeal against this decision.

Thank you. ~~~~~ So do you ever watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer Ophe? What do you think of their view of what vampires are like? I think it's pretty good. As I have already said - no straight connection between vampires and bats , they were often compared to each other in olden days for they both drink blood . the thing with vampires turning in to bats is just Hollywood crap . Sorry for the expresions . I did watch Buffy when it was on but that was such a long long time ago . It was not bad . Not bad at all . With some objections from Anne Rice fans , no doubt but it , at the least , is not lame . Though the last seasons were getting too ... off topic and very much based on the relationships and very much even annoying (my personal view) . Nothing can be compared to the first season . It was interesting . But unfortunatly it is so with mostly all of the serials Any other opinions from your side ? And now let's forgive and be forgiven if melissa promises not to repeat her mistakes . Btw , Elentari ! Where did my option of deleting other's posts go ? I miss it and it would be of a big use for not to leave many blank posts up ;D Ophelia |

Buffy was great, though I agree, the last series were slightly worse than the first ones. Though we have different reasons *coughDawncough*. I always thought the way the vampires' features changed was a good idea (and have since used it in my few vampiric stories) and the way they exploded when they died. Well, I say 'died' but that's not entirely accurate, seeing as they're already dead.
The best thing about Buffy vampires is their lack of soul. They're not wimpy things that go "Oh no! I have to kill things to live! Boo hoo!" They get on with it and have fun with it even! Which makes them a far more formidable enemy and a more interesting one (purely from the point of view of entertainment). Also, if real vampires didn't want to kill to eat, they wouldn't eat and so would become very weak and be really easy to kill and so would end the race of vampires. So it's realistic(ish) too!

Awell .. That is the thing about vampires , meant so at all times - they are dead already but they still walk the earth only with no soul . That is why they can't find rest and wake every night . I don't think I'd be very good at writing vampire stories. Lol. I dunno, the whole vampire thing never really grabbed me by the neck. Buffy was ok (mmm... Angel...) but I never really find vampires all that interesting or logical. But then, that's just me. | tari p.s. Ophe, sorry bout you not being able to delete posts. It's fixed now.
