What's a Ned, Lossie?
Right then, back to vampires. Actually, I think I've said everything I think about vampires. Hey, we could link it to LotR, except I can't because I haven't read the Silm. All I know is that there's some kind of creature (female, I think) which can turn into a bat. Yeah, these are random things I've picked up from around and about.
Where you live, incidentally, is a lame excuse for bad typing.

anyway i was saying before wat his face dragoneyes sommat like that! people don't think that vampire are real they think its make beilieve or they have just read it from anne rice!!??!!??!!??!! ;D  . what is the point of reading from anne rice's books or any other book and saying vampire are not real  |

The point, I believe, would to be entertained. There's no need to believe everything you read, certainly not in fiction books.

Indeed , I agree with Dragoneyes . For example , I've read books of a perfect world but I don't and will never believe in one . I read to ocupy my mind or to entertain it , as Dragon already said   But I must praise you melissa for trying to keep the topic alive and aswell for more or less starting to avoid netspeak Ophelia |

well thanks Ophelia for the nice compliment  ;D but the thing i was saying is that i don't believe in the book that people write i believe in things that i believe in. i really do think that there is another world out there (paranormally of course)  ;D ! but no one else believes in that (paranormally of course)! loadsa love from ma peeps in nottingham! melissa3001 |

Now now ... As a person who has made the whole Vaults (with the help of our lovely Lessentilien , ofcourse) and as a person who has never read anything from Ann Rice , I assume I disagree to what you said of noone believing in the paranormal and so on . And a question for you : could it be so that Ann Rice believes in vampires just like you only she wrote it in books ? By the way people tend to make stereotypes and if a non-believer in vampires reads a book of Ann Rice (say , just for the entertainment) and later on in his life is asked to describe a vampire without being asked if he believes in them or not he either follows stereotypes that he knows in random (they sleep in coffins , drink blood , hate crosses etc) or they tell what they have read in the book .
So to summ up :
Ann Rice is a believer but might be having other opinions about vampires and their charactaristics and doings than you but you can not say they are false for you do not know yourself !
If people read of vampires or talk of them in stereotypes , doesn't mean they automatically need to believe in them .
Look through the Vaults and you'll find a lovely bunch of people that do believe in the paranormal , and do not deny them only if they have other thoughts of it .

i didn't say that i didn't believe in anne rice seeming i wrote about 3 essays about her and i got 3 of her books i am saying that other people read her books and call her weird because she wrote books about vampires all i want to say is that anne rice is cool but i am defending her by what people say in my neck of the woods (they hate her because she has different opinions about what she belives in) and have debates at my club saying that anne rice is a normal person with different personalitys like everyone else there are only a few people that understand what anne rice is saying and the few people that believe in her are some believers as well my friend jareth said that vampires are cool and they have perminate stiffy and anne rice said that in one of her books or sommat like that!!!!!!!!!  ?!!!!!!!!!! any way i am not dissin anne rice loadsa love melissa3001 |

I'm still wondering how could a computer mistake do a nickname change ... But I ask you nicely not to use my nickname . It is quite unpleasent .
Secondly , it is quite hard to catch upon the actual meaning of your posts for I am not that good in orienting at the state of chaos , not to mention chaos in english . So sorry .
Though still I think there are too many people out there in this world , when it comes to taking sides there are only 3 to choose : to be for , to be against or to stay relativly neutral (this state is actually quite impossible but that , now , is a whole different story) . And I am not talking of complete being for or complete being against , but every opinion has to be based on this point of view (either pure yes or no or yes , but with some objections or no with some objections) . So what if you are living in a place where the biggest whole of the inhabitants are taking the against side because they just do not like the books ? Hmmm ... Most definetly if you ask me .
Another thing I would like to point out is that you seem to be outraged about people having different thoughts than you (?) If I like Ann Rice and somebody else doesn't it is just natural . I , for example , am pretty much against the ideas of communism , still there are some who are not , but what can I do about it ? Nothing !
Concludion : people are creatures that tend to have many and different opinions but it is just natural and fully normal .
