This is a reply to everyone on this message board. Please understand before i start that i am speaking from my own experience and am in no way trying to proove anyone elses opinions or theories incorrect. I am what is known today as a medium in the past people such as my self have been called witches, warlocks, devils and associated mainly with bad things, this is quite simply because most people who live are afraid of death because they do not understand it, we see life as a wonderous thing most people i mean, and therefore the end of life or death must be bad! This is not true however. Death is not the end of existence. Life in a physical body is just part of the esxistence of a spirit and when that body becomes unable for whatever reason to contain a spirit any longer it shuts down but the soul carries on. I am actually christian and believe in God but i do not reject any other religious or scientific explanation for life an death. I do know however, that i communicate with the spirits of beings who once existed as humans. In the most they are good entities however sometimes they can be bad and have in fact tried to harm me. For this reason i would not reccomend communication with the dead to anyone who does not know what they are doing, it is simply not a game. I was raised by my great grandmother who was the most powerful medium i have ever known, my gift has been passed down through generations and i was taught about how to use it as soon as i was abble to understand. Anyone can communicate with the dead if they are open enough but i must add that not everyone is naturally strong enough to be able to fight any evil spirit and terrible consequences can occur. I know i have gone on for ages here but i do worry sometimes that people see the paranormal as a sort of game and i feel very strongly that it is not. A very interesting post , I'm intrugued I do not even ask for you to read all the pages of this thread not to mention the whole Vaults . But if you would have you'd know that I have never taken any of the paranormal as a game . I know all of the consequences aswell . Just as well as I'm a christian but I like the phylosophy of hinduism , daoism and bhudism . My supernatural expieriences are all laid out in the threads of the Vaults , except for the foreseeing dreams for the thread was closed and not renewed . But that's a whole different story . Likewise you , I do not think of death as something terrible . If a person has died from natural causes , I consider him lucky not to be troubled with the shallow troubles and belongings of the material world . It is another thing when you lose someone before his time . But I won't start explaining for it would be long . The same ending : for any questions - post here or ask for any other type of communication form . Ophelia |

Dear Ophelia.
When i said in my posting that i think the paranormal should not be seen as a game i was not referring to you individualy and i have in fact read many of your postings and have been most interested in your experiences and opinions, i was however mentioning the point that many people do see communication with spirits and ghosts as something of a game and this can be devestating to many people.
I hope that i caused no offence to anyone in saying that, i do realise that there are many people who see spirits and take the subject very seriously because i am one of these people. I would be interested to be in contact with anyone who wants to talk further and share experiences in particular you Ophelia you seem to be a very interesting individual.

as i am new to this thread then i must say that i believe in the paranomal world and i must say i have seen my fair share on ghosts/spirits there are over 10 ghosts/spirits in my house. i have contact with them every other week and i am not lying me and a small group of friends AUTOMATIC HANDWRITING, Ouija Board that kinda thing and it works. i bet you are all saying that im faking it all but i am telling the truth.

Uuuuh dear Mealissa, you better not do contacting of this kind if you're not a profesional and very knowing in these things . For nothing comes without any consequences . These contacting seances open a big space for more spirits to wander in this world and haunt your house . Even though I know it is very interesting to expierience something like this you need to know how and what and why works . I hope you do know it and do not do it simply for spending time .
P.S. So sorry for being no good as a mod and not being here too often and for so long ..

I have had many sightings of spriits/ghosts when I was a child as well and yes there like you are times I have dissmissed them as just dreams or the imagionation of a child but after hearing that my brother as well has had visits from the other side I am beginning to think they were real and not a dream. but your reaction is very normal .
