Ok since this post is clearly not getting any messages, and that is bugging me, I am going to try to get it going. All of the previous post have concluded what theology is so....... in conclusion the god of Middle-earth is Eru. So everyone talk about Eru. He created the Valar and the Ainur who in return made the Great Music. Ok everybody join in! ;D

Bravo!! Good attempt. You can if you want, though my initial desire in starting this thread was to discuss God (or Eru, in an allegorical sense) and the Inkling's view on Him and how he affected their works.
On the other hand, since I don't spend any time here anymore, you're free to interpret this thread as you wish.

Um, how is God in Tolkiens work? I know that he was a devout Catholic and nothing else. Since I am stupid I can not see how god is interpreted in his works. Help!
