I absolutely love these books! Anyone else know of them?

Aiya Nildenya (Hello My Friend) ;D
I love the whole series. I have to say though that the First King of Shannara was by far my favorite. I think it's because I really like Bremen's character as well as Tay's. After watching LoTR though, it's hard to imagine an Elf with facial hair. LOL

Tis true. He also has dark skinned elves. His elves are really very human, more so than Tolkien's. My mom bought me Sword of Ti'annara (oops!) for Christmas years ago and I've been in love with the stories ever since!

I love these books too as you can tell by my user name. I haven't yet read, The King of Shanarra, but I'll get it eventually. Yesterday at the library I ordered, "The Knight of the Word" , its not Shannara but it is Terry Brooks.

I managed to get through the first section of "The First King of Shannara" before it had to go back to the library. Although I enjoyed it, it seemed to be... I dunno. Long-ish. Not as in page numbers, either. But do I really need a second-by-second play of the entire trip accross the desert, even the parts when they're eating or sleeping? Maybe so.
I really should try to read that book again... ;D
