It's just a simple poll, guys, about a very complex and deep question. The books are marvelous, we all agree here, but how are the movies?

I voted for nice work , for there are some thigs I did not quite like (the ads and some stuff) . But the movies are sooooo great !!!

I also voted nice work. Although PJ didi a better job than any mortal could, but it's still not good enough to be classed as the very essense of Tolkien's work itself.

Yes.. I agree. Very nice work, PJ, indeed, but nothing could completely capture the essence of LOTR, I think.

Well, Christopher Lee said that the movies are the very essence and spirit of Tolkien, not I; although I totally agree with him. He's a more greater LOTR fan than I will ever be...

I love Christopher Lee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you know he was in Star Wars 2 + 3. I can't believe they chopped his head of. That totally killed the movie. And why is he always playing a evil dude?
