Is OCD something you can have had but not have anymore? Because up til about a year ago, I couldn't stop myself from putting things completely symmetrically (eg, if I had a big piece of meat on one side of my plate and none on the other, I'd split it in half and put each one exactly opposite the other, or if I had a fork on the left side of my plate I'd have to go get another one to put on the right side.) *shrugs* It was annoying when it was happening... gone now... though I suppose my mom would have been terribly happy to find me cleaning things. -Menelien

Yeah you can get over it. I used to have to switch a light on and off four times before leaving a room or else my family would all die. But I was kinda young, so I don't know if that was an actual OCD or me being messed up. Meh. And of course there's my- must buy dvds or I can't leave the shop disorder. But as I have no money at present, I'm reduced to renting. I don't let myself into HMV for fear that I will actually attempt theft. And do we need to explain the green fairy? "The Green Fairy, also known as Absinthe." Absinthe is the aphrodisiac of the self. The green fairy who lives in the absinthe is said to want your soul. Absinthe is an anise-flavored liqueur made with an extract from wormwood (Artemisia absinthium). It is an emerald green drink, which is very bitter (due to the presence of absinthin) and is therefore traditionally poured over a perforated spoon that has a cube of sugar on it into a glass of water. The drink then turns into an opaque, almost iridescent white as the essential oils precipitate out of the alcoholic solution. Oscar Wilde, an absinthe enthusiast, said, "The first stage is like ordinary drinking, the second when you begin to see monstrous and cruel things, but if you can persevere you will enter in upon the third stage where you see things that you want to see, wonderful curious things." Known Absinthe Drinkers: Edouard Manet Charles Baudelaire Paul Verlaine Arthur Rimbaud Oscar Wilde Ernest Dowson Edgar Degas Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec Vincent Van Gogh Adolphe Monticelli Paul Gauguin Alfred Jarry Pablo Picasso Ernest Hemingway Edgar Allen Poe Hehehe, a fount of useless info. Hope it was interesting for some of you at least. In some countries, Absinthe is actually illegal, as it's a drug basically. America has laws against it, but there are loopholes. Sorry, got carried away, I just love the info that goes with it. For anyone who's intrigued by it and has the urge to try- be warned, Absinthe on it's own, like whiskey but stronger, kinda burns your mouth and throat. You have been warned.

Ah, that clears things right up. I'd ask how you know all that, but I know some pretty weird things myself.

No, there was a bottle of some sort of poison, and I stuck a straw in it and drank it, then I read the warning label..but no one called poison control..my parents don't even know about it..

Haha...
BTW, if we're talking odd experiences here, I burnt myself with an ice cube today. XD Yes, it's possible. It feels really weird. And painful. Somebody told me how and cautioned me not to do it, and of course I went and did it. ;D

Nilly liked the whole thing on Absinthe (I prefer to call it Green Fairy… it sound cuter)! Now it may be ‘drug like’ but its not like a bad drug… its like nice! It may not taste that nice but it is well nice. Now you may not see green fairies but maybe pink ones (much prettier!!!)!! I doubt all you Americans will be able to try the Green Fairy seeing it is band in various countries but you Europeans might want to try it when you are older!
Now I have never been burnt by ice before but I have been burnt by grass… it was very saw!!
