Well this is the place to discuss dreams that show you the future . I have these dreams (or had - I haven`t seen one for some time) and I usually see what happens tomorrow only when this moment I have seen in my dreams comes I remember it right before the dreamed action happens . But there are dreams like repeating ones . Mostly if I see a foreseeing dream thrice at the least it becomes a prophecy . In one word - it becomes true .
These foreseeing dreams mean you have more developed 6th sence . And that`s a god thing .
This thread is something like the last call - you guys are being inactive here and that is really boring for me . And do not feel shy to ask of anything paranormal or maybe start a new thread if there is something you are interested in . Be talkative =)

I don't think that this was a forseeing dream but once I dreamed that my l'il bro chwed up all the Tupperware lids in the house, and then he did.  |

Every so often, I've had dreams where I imagine, sometimes in the context of another dream, sometimes just something randomly, where a little thing will happen, then a few days later, or maybe a few weeks later, the event will happen. Some of my friends have said this as well. Its just little things you know, but its the strangest feeling when it actually happens, like 'woah, thats happened before...'. Sometimes things may be a little changed though: for example, to take a very small one: my mum came into my room when I was lying on the bed, and told me I didn't have to go if I didn't want to. I didn't get it at the time, it didn't make sense at all, so I sort of just built the rest of the dream over it, but like a week later, I had been discussing something with her, I forget what about, and I was really strongly opposed to going somwhere, but I couldn't give my mum the reasons, because, they were, like, too personal to someone else, it wouldn't have been fair. But eventually, when I was lying on my bed reading later on, she came in and said exactly the same words "you don't have to go if you don't want to,"...and then got rather worried I think when for a few seconds I just stared at her. It was weird, all the same right down to the clothes...

*shudder* I hope my dreams aren't going to actually come true...(long story, will never, ever, get into that...)
although sometimes I have forseeing daydreams...mostly about things said...nothing..serious.
My brother however, once had a dream that he was falling, and when he woke up his bed had collapsed. (it was one of those retractable type ones, and one of the metal rods wasn't screwed in properly...)

Well Silverdream - welcome to my world . Though I have stoped stareing and thinking over about "this has allready happened" a long time ago . I dream something from my future (nearest one mostly) every night . Sometimes I remember these dreams and I know when the time comes what am I supposed to say or do . Sometimes I remember it only when it happens . The creepyest prophecy I have dreamed was a dream I dreamed 3 times . First a really long time ago I dreamed I fell off a horse . I dreamed every detail but I thought it was really no nothing meaning dream for I didn`t know such a possibility like riding yet . Then after a half a year I dreamed the excact same dream in all detales . After a month I dreamed again and the a couple of week later I did go to stables and had a ride with a small horse . Then suddenly I started feeling like this has allready happened and wham! I fell off the horse and down I went hiting my head on a rock like I dreamed before and all the excact same thoughts ran trough my mind and all . Sience then I have had these dreams all the time . These foreseeing dreams mean you have a more developed 6th sence as I told allready . And you can develope it even more if you want to . But that`s another story Thanx for responting ! -oPHELIa- |

...but my dad had a dream that his friend who he hadn't seen in a long time told him that his other friend had had an operation- and the next day, the "other friend" had the operation, and he saw the one he hadn't seen in a long time... I don't believe in dreams that fortell the future, but I thought it was interesting.

Most of my dreams entail ridiculous situations or something to do with being dead. I had this really weird dream once about a haunted house, which wasn't really that weird because I'm always dreaming about haunted things, but then I had it again from a different point of view.
Lots of my dreams also include fictional characters (Aragorn played quite an important role in one last night...)

This is rather wierd but once when I was doing a play, one of my parts was to operate this huge puppet (it was a puppet of Smaug btw, we were doing The Hobbit) and I had to be completely in black. I had this black gloves I had to wear and one day after rehearsal, I was putting all my paraphernalia away and I couldn't find them! I told a friend about my loss and she said she would bring me some black gloves the next day. Well, that night I dreamed that I was at rehearsal and I was standing backstage were I had all my props and I was pulling my black gloves out of the pocket my black pants. The next day at rehearsal, I got changed into my black outfit and my friend had forgotten to bring me some gloves. So I went to tell the costumer what I had lost. On the way through backstage I stopped at my props because someone had knocked them off. I set them back up when I became aware of a bulge in my pocket. I reached in and pulled out my black gloves. I looked around and I was standing in the exact same spot that I was in my dream. Lofty no?  |
