The time period is one year before Bilbo's eleventy-first birthday, and one year after Frodo leaves for the Grey Havens. And I don't think poems are allowed, but you can post them in the Hall of Fire.

At last! It is resurected! Here you may read all the imformation about the upcoming fanfiction contest. If you have any questions, post them here or PM myself, or Elentari. RULES 1. You must be a member of Imladris at the time of entry, and have at least 20 posts. 2. Your story must take place in between a year before the Fellowship begins their journey, and one after. 3. Your story must be at least two pages, when printed. 4. You may submit up to two stories. 5. You may submit your story beginning September 20, 2004. The top 10 will be announced in October. PM them to username ElberethVarda. 6. Prizes are: First- 100 post credit and personalized avatar or signature by Elentari. Second- 75 post credit and personalized avatar or signature by Elentari. Third- 50 post credit. 7. Also, will you please keep the story canonical with Tolkien. For example, no modern day language (words such as Wow, Dude, etc.) Mods, if I left anything out, please, please add it!

*snrk* Yes, lovely title. In this game, we're going to make up a story, one sentence at a time. The catch? Each person has to make a sentance that begins with sequential letters of the alphabet. Starting with A, then B, so on and so forth.Here we go!
