What part are you most looking forward to in Return of the King? I, personally, can't wait to see Shelob, but I want to know what you think!

I am looking forward to when Gollum falls in Mt Doom, it will be interesting to see what PJ does with that scene! Oh and the end at the, oh my God can't remember the name.........that place with the............can't remember, Thats it the Grey Havens, that bit I hope is really good.

I am most looking forward to the Eowyn - Faramir, romance, Ice queen melting kinda thing. Its gonna be soo cool and PJ better not leave it out or skrimp on the scene!

i am looking forward to......well....the whole movie!! I really can't wait to see all of the battle scenes. i like those. i don't really know why either. I also want to really see Shelob and all that. Well, i just can't wait to see it all! When does it come out??

Let's see: Elves, Arwen and Aragorn's marriage, Eowyn and Faramir, Gollum, Gnadalf, Saruman for the most part. Esp. if Arwen was really included in the Pelennor Fields [still confused about that].

I can't wait for the whole thing! But it'll be horrible sad when there are no more to look forward to.......

PJ said that the trailer should start showing around May/June. In the mean time I'll try to post this....please work please work please work.....

EDIT: Ok, that totally didn't work. Nevermind. It was a RotK countdown thingie, but what the site told me to do apparently doesn't work.....

To tell the truth...I don't actually want to see it. Or rather, I'm just not certain. The changes PJ made in TTT are sure to affect ROTK. I don't want to see a screwed-up version...

yes it did, which really ticks me off, because if it's to be foretold in the movie... then it should happen! if PJ planned to take out the scouring, I don't think he should have even foretold it in the mirror of Galadriel... but overall, he did a marvelous job of the first two movies and I can't wait for RoTK, that was certainly my favorite of the books, if I could pick a favorite.

The apparent lack of the Scouring is really starting to rankle with me. That was my favorite part in the books!!! PJ had better do a doubly good job with Shelob and the Siege of Minas Tirith. Spiders and fire........ oh, this really will be my favorite of the three.........

You forgot Pippin and the Palantir! Such important thing really shouldn't be forgotten. I too, am annoyed with the scouring being removed, it ties up the whole story and shows that the entire of Middle Earth is touched and tainted by Sauron. But I assumes it's now going to be the same as it always was and Hobbits shan't get to strut their stuff and I doubt that the ban will be placed on their borders for keeping out men.

I suggest you do not read the following if you do no want to spoil the movie! The site it was from may not have correct information so it might not happen... even though I saw a picture of something like that...

Sauron will be standing off against Aragorn in hand to hand combat.

Men of Gondor surround them both and Legolas shouts "Aragorn!" as a warning, then Aragorn with Anduril in hand rushes the Dark Lord who looked like he was in different armor than when we saw him in the prologue. It is not an even fight and Aragorn is nearly knocked to death as the countdown to the destruction of the ring begins. I guess the goal is to make the audience wonder if the ring will be destroyed before Aragorn is smeared all over Mordor!

Another thing I saw was the death of Saruman. Grima slits Saruman's throat and kicks him over the edge of Orthanc where he is impaled on the wheel, then Legolas shoots an arrow high into the air and is laughed at by Grima as it soars over his head, as Grima is mocking the seemingly inaccurate Legolas the arrow comes spiraling down straight through Grima's skull!

that's a quote but the picture was of Aragron hacking off Sauron's head...

Interesting rumors you found there, Alatariel. Although I really, extraordinarily doubt that Aragorn and Sauron will face off in hand-to-hand combat. That would be difficult, considering Sauron doesn't really have a face. Or hands....

I'm going to Miss the Scouring of the Shire too. But I really wanna see the Grey Havens and like someone already said Denethor go up in flames and Eowyn and Farimirs romance. I hope they stay true to the book when they do that ;D

I would love to see all the awesome battle scenes, and try them out for myself.

I also want to see how they are going to finish the Arwen/Aragorn romance. I want PJ to make it clear to the audience (especially those who haven't read the books) how much Arwen has to sacrifice to marry Aragorn and remain with him.
