I am in a total jam! I have run out of books to read this summer. I have read Lotr and the hobbit many times including the silmarillion. I was thinking of reading the Iliad or the Odysey. Any comments/suggestions?

Read "The Chronicles of Amber" by Roger Zelazny. There's 10 books, two series. I've read the first series (first 5 books), and I'd recommend them. Or, if you've ever heard of Forgotten Realms (games like Baulders Gate and Neverwinter Nights) read books by R.A. Salvatore. "The Hunters Blades Trilogy" is a good one to start with. Oh! Read the Tears of Artamon by Sarah Ash. Brilliant first 2 books to the trilogy! 3rd's out in october. | tari

The no.1 Ladies' Detective agency by Arthur McCall Smith. It's very different to everything else in and out of its genre. It's about a Detective agency set up in Botswana by a very logical and no-nonsense woman.
It's not a long read but it's an entertaining one (and there are four books to follow it if you enjoy it).
