~*Imladris Christmas Party*~

[Alatáriel]

Ala was a little shocked at what just happened. She raised an eyebrow at Mip and Lëowen. She sat back on her stool and waited. Sipping at her drink, she waited, looking occasionally down at her watch. The time is near, she thought.

Dragging Elijah along with her, she walked back to the kitchen. 'Is everything almost done in her, guys?' she asked. The workers nodded. Ala walked back out.

'Erm, what is going to happen next?'

'Well in about ten minutets the green fearies will serve the appitizers... that reminds me..' she said. She left her place at the bar and walked up front to the stage. There was a microphone on a stand, very bare. She tapped on it a bit. Nothing happened so she signaled the light and sound crew.

A spotlight appeared on the stage where Ala and Elijah stood behind the lone microphone. 'Everyone! I would like to announce that the green faeries will be serving the appitizers in about ten minutes!' Ala finished. Everyone had turned there attention to her. She said, 'That is all, thank'ee' and left the stage. The lights dimmed as she took her post back at the bar.

[Lëowen]

Leo followed Mip and Dom back to the Dj station, gnawing absently at her wrist as she went. She glared back at Ala every once and awhile.

'Chippy?' asked Mip again.

'Ah, yes...' Leo rummaged around in the pouch that hung by her side for a moment. Eventually, she drew her hand out, a little dark brown squirrel perched on her arm.

'Squee?' squeaked the squirrel, using entirely too much alliteration.

Leo grinned. 'Meet Chippy.'

[Mippin]

'CHIPPY!!!' Mippin shouted at the sight of the squirrel. She asked to hold it, and Lëo let the squirrel scurry over to Mip. 'Squee?' Chippy squeed at her. 'Yes Chippy, Squee.' Mip said cheerfully, stroking the darling squirrel. 'Squee!' yelped Chippy happily. Mippin let Dom stroke Chippy for a bit, then handed him back to Lëowen.

'I must get back to my DJ-like duties.' Mip said, 'D'you have a request?'

Lëowen fished through her stuf and pulled out a CD. She handed it to Mip then walked off. Mip sat down in her stool, and waited for Dom to get situated. Mip took up the mic and spoke. 'Aaye, fair peoples of Imladris! We have a special request from the enigmatic Shadow Hawk!' Mip then hit play and the song '99 red balloons' began playing. It wasn't the German version, which Mip was a bit more fond of, but it was still spiffy. Mip began singing along in German, softly. Dom raised an eyebrow at her. 'What, you didn't know I spoke some German?' Mip asked him. He shook his head, and said nothing.

Mip took out her parchment yet again, and recorded something else. 'Mini-balrog, Chippy, good good!' she muttered as she wrote.

[Alatáriel]

Ala wiped the bar, which had gotten quite dirty from the few guests there. Picking up all the empty glasses, she put them in the back to be washed. The workers had the appitizers done and were neatly arranging everything.

'Good job, guys! Keep up the good work!' she said to everyone and went back to the front. She gave someone the drink they had ordered, and then she and Elijah both sat down at their normal stools. 'I feel like mixing another drink,' Ala said, partially to herself, partially to anyone else listening, 'I think I'll do a strawberry dackary. Anyone else want one while Im at it?' she asked the people at the bar. A few said 'Yes, over here,' and waved. Ala counted how many she should make and began mixing.

'Can you hand me that?' Ala said to Elijah, pointing to something next to him. He handed her it and she added all the ingredients. Adding the rum, she twisted the cap on and shook the silver cup-like thing. 'D'you wanna try?' she offered it to Elijah. He nodded, took it, and began to shake it as Ala had done. 'Err... I think thats good...'

Ala took out some glasses and poured an even amount in each. She passed it to the ones that wanted it. Elijah seemed to like it. She sipped at her own.

[Ophelia]

The laughing trio sat by the bar and kept on chatting ang giggling . Then suddenly Ophe got silent and again the chair went down on the floor as she jumped up and dashed away again .

"Leeeeeee-oooooooooo-weeeeeeeeeen!!!!!!"she cried out while running . Then after such a take off road she "landed" with her arms around Leo . "You can not imagine how glad I am to see you here !!!"

Leowen stood there in confuzzed and with a really surprised look on her face .

[Lossentilien]

As she walked towards the armchairs, Lossie made a mental note to find Ophelia later in the evening. No doubt something amazing would happen with Ophelia at a party like this.
She reached the armchairs and sank into the nearest one, putting the glasses down on a small table. She eyed the bright green liquid...where was Nil? And Elentari, she hadn't seen her either. In fact, there were quite a few people she'd not seen yet. She wondered if it would be possible not to drink those drinks until she found Nil.
Tearing her eyes away, she looked around the hall. There was some very odd activity, even for the Imladris members...'Are they eating cameras over there?'
A green faery flew past her head. No doubt they were in a hurry to get the appitizers out...another faery...she reached out and grabbed it mid-flight, stuffing it into a little bag tied round her. Her eyes wandered around the room again.
Lossie jolted up in her seat, had she really seen that flash of green material? Could it be the elusive Nil?

[Novnarwen]

Nova had screamed so loudly when Ophelia had frightened her, she was still shaking. But she was glad to find Ophelia here though, since they already knew each other in advance. Elbereth another friendly woman came over also, having a great laugh of the former scene.

The three ladies enjoyed each others company and went over to the bar to have some refreshments. Nova ordered something called 'The Gaffer's Delight'. After her little run-about outside she was quite cold, and found herself freezing.

"So,...." Nova was just about to ask something, when Ophelia grabbed her glass and sprang up.

"Leeeeeee-oooooooooo-weeeeeeeeeen!!!!!!" she cried out.

Nova and Elbereth looked at each other as Ophelia ran off to greet her friend. "So, that's Leowen," Nova said merrily, taking another sip of the Gaffer's Delight'.

[Helkster]

As Nilli and him had finished dancing and new people arrived, Helka got amused with the bartender who was tying lotr-cast members to the guests. He walked over to the bar and asked for a tequila shot. Ala filled a shotglass with tequila and handed it over. Helka raized an eyebrow at her looking at the glass standing lonely on the bar. He urged her head forward and whispered in her ear.

"Where the hell is my lemon and salt?"

"What?" Ala said not knowing what the idiot meant.

"Just hand me a saltshaker and a lemon."

As Helka got what he demanded and started chopping the lemon in nice slices, a curious dragoneyes came to the bar and asked him what the hell he was doing.

"Drinking a shot the only way it's done. Want to join in?"

"Sure, gimmie a shot."

Helka licked his wrist, placed some salt on it and then licked it of, immediatly followed by the tequila and the part of the lemon. Dragoneyes did the same and her eyes jumped for a second.

"See? Just irritate the taste system and get the best out of the drink hahahahaha!"

Helka ordered another shot while suddenly looking up and down dragoneyes. Her dress was ripped, her hair hung loosly and she was not wearing shoes. She looked like something that had been unleashed, but definatly in a good way.

"Like the dress. I see that you, like me, have a thing with dresscodes."

"You just eat your salt and lemons Helky." Dragoneyes snapped with a wink.

Helka was not chatting with dragon when two little rats jumped him and the bartender came with a rope.

"Hold him, I'm tying John to him."

"Oh hell no." Helka replied, but the rope was already secured around his wrist.

The bartender looked triumphant, but Helka just pulled up his shoulders and cut the rope with his dagger. He took another shot of tequila and started scouting the room for GOTO.

He found her talking to someone he didn't knew and immediatly lifted her in the air and carried her away to the dancing room shouting: "I will take this piece of decoration for inspection if you don't mind." GOTO replied by pulling a knife and holding it to Helka's troat.

"If you don't let me go, I will cut your throat."

"You wish you would hate me enough to do it. Because I know you won't missy. Now you and I are going to dance, and then I'm going to teach you the only way to skin a fairy." Helka said laughing as he dropped GOTO on the floor and starting a cha-cha-cha.

"Hey you had lessons Helka? My feet don't have yours on them."

"Funny." Was the reply.

[Niluial]

Niluial sat outside… she had been for the past hours. No green drinks for me tonight she thought. Nilly didn’t enjoy Green Faeries alone, it was no fun. Niluial took a sip of wine and got up straitening her green dress and puffing her wings. She opened the door and the music blasted through the doors. In the distance sat a green figure, Niluial feeling a bit tipsy squinted her eyes… “Is that, no… Ah Lossie!” she squealed running across the room. Niluial pushed Elentari out the way leaving Elentari flat on the floor. “Lossie! Lossie! Lossie” Niluial squealed grabbing Lossie and hugging her.
“You look lovely!” Lossie said
“Oh so do you” Niluial said in a cheery voice. Lossie looked at the table beside her and smiled then patted the bag tied around her waist. Niluial looked at the table and saw two small glasses of a green mixture. Niluial smiled an evil smile and looked at Lossie. Niluial was about to reach for the glass when Lossie’s bag around her waist moved. Niluial eyed the bag suspiciously.

[Orofaniel]

Orofaniel entered the party. A lot of new faces, was the first thought that hit her.

Orofaniel looked around in the room that was nicly decorated and it did remind her of Christmas indeed. "WhatDoIDoNow?" She said to herself, giving a faint smile as one of the guests past her.

Suddenly there, in front of her was Nova. "Nooooooova!" Oro cried. The pretty girl in the red dress turned. She looked surprised to see her, but she smiled. "Oro!" she said and walked over to her.

"You're so pretty!" Oro exclaimed as she saw Nova's dress properly. (Yes, Oro hasn't....er....her sight isn't really....terrific! ;D)

Nova just smiled, and dragged her along to the bar. "Meet Elbereth and Ophelia!" Nova said. "I know Ophelia!" Orofaniel exclaimed again. Ophelia laughed. "Yeah, we know each other." She said and gave Oro a hug.

"Then meet Elbereth." Nova said and smiled. "Hi Elebereth, nice to meet ya.." Oro said and waved, even though she was standing right in front of her.

[ElberethVarda]

"Hi Elbereth, nice to meet ya," Oro said to Elbereth. She smiled and waved. Elbereth set down her Gaffer's Delight. "I think we've met," she said mysteriously.

Oro and Nova both looked very confused. "You know me under my alter-ego," she said, her eyes twinkling. Oro and Nova traded uncomfortable glances. Elbereth laughed warmly at their expressions. "Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time for guessing later in the evening!" she said. "Now, let's have fun!"

[Lëowen]

"Leeeeeee-oooooooooo-weeeeeeeeeen!!!!!!"
Something landed on Leo, knocking her forward a step.

'Ah, hallo, Ophelia.' Leo gasped. Something seemed to missing. Ah, yes. Air. 'I'm having a bit of trouble breathing.'

Ophelia loosened her arms from around Leo, letting the startled elf breathe. "You can not imagine how glad I am to see you here !!!"

Leo grinned, and handed Ophelia an acorn. Chippy squeed happily, and scampered up Ophelia's arm, perching on her shoulder. 'I'm quite happy to see you, too!! Happy Still-Not-Quite-Yule!'

[Lossentilien]

Lossie put both hands over her bag to stifle the movement slightly. She looked up at a suspicious Nil and grinned sheepishly.
"Heh..."
"Lossie...what's..."
Lossie cut Nilly off by pushing some of the green liquid towards her, and gulping down what was in her own glass. "Two more methinks, what about you Nil?"
Nilly grinned an evil grin in response, and they set off back to the bar, wondering on the way why Helka had GOTO over his shoulder...as Nilly was distracted by this odd sight, Lossie took her chance to grab another of the faeries out of the air and stuff it into her bag. Pretending to have been watching a certain a camera eating Dom, she turned back to Nilly as they went on to the bar, chatting about the wonderful decorations. They waved at GOTO and Helka on the dancefloor, and stepped over Elentari, who was still on the floor, and seemed to have attracted a nice group of people sitting there with her.
"Hey, when are the apetizers?" Lossie queeried.

[Orofaniel]

"Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time for guessing later in the evening!" she said. "Now, let's have fun!" Elbereth said. Oro had to admit that she was a bit confused. Where had she met Elebereth before, she thought, and glanced over at Nova nervously.

"Aaaaalright!" Oro cried and did the a shorthened version of the chicken dance. "Sit now, Oro." Nova said behind her white teeth. Oro gave a short laugh and seated. "Wait!" Nova said. "Oh riiiiight." Oro said, and remembered that they weren't supposed to do the chicke dance...just yet. "Lets sit, shall we?" Oro suggested when she saw that Nova was still standing.

Could EleberethVarda be the Varda on BD chat? Orofaniel thought. Who was this mysterious woman...?

[Novnarwen]

"Sit now, Oro." Nova said, seeing that Oro jumped up as she heard the chicken dance song. Nova thought for a moment, the chicken dance song was after all a major hit, so why not loosen up? Nova laughed as Oro pretended to have wings and started 'flying' in the room

Elbereth laughed as she eyed Oro as well.

"Hey, you!" Nova cried. "Wait for me!! I can make funny movements as well!"

Nova got off her stool, laughing so hard she almost fell. "Oops," she said, trying to control herself. This was worse than hyper ness! Oro came over again, and helped her friend up, taking her by the arm. "Is it just me, or is that stool very odd?" Nova asked, excusing herself.

Oro glanced over at Elbereth before she answered sarcastically: "It's the stool. It's definitely the stool. NO doubt about that..."

They broke into laughter again, before Nova got to her real self and said to Oro that no sarcasm was needed. "I got the point dummy," she added. "Now let's dance!" she said joyfully.

"WAIT, Oro!!" Nova cried.

"What?" Oro said, being concerned all of a sudden.

"We are not supposed to do the chicken dance yet!"

After a few seconds, Oro trying to digest the saddening information, she was cool with it. They settled themselves by the bar again, together with Elbereth and ordered something to drink. Boy, Nova was thirty.
