I think we all know the drill. A topic is chosen and we go through the alphabet with that topic. The topic is Tolkien related of course. Places of Arda A is for Amon Hen, where the High Seat is and where the fellowship was broken.

B is for the Barrow Downs, a place in the Old Forest where the Hobbits faced their first life threatening situation (well... closer to death than with the RingWraiths) This scene was (annoyingly) not in the films. It is also the name of a forum nearly as good as this one ^_-

E is for the Emyn Muil, a range of sharp, rocky mountains to the north west of Mordor, which Frodo and Sam became lost in while on their way to Mordor.

Yeah, the only "J" in Tolkien is "Jewels of Feanor" I believe.
L is for Lothlorien, home of Celeborn and of Galadriel, Lady of Light. ;D

M is for Minas Tirith, fair city of Gondor, built on seven levels. The Nazgul King was killed just outside of it's outer wall.

P is for Parth Galen, the green lawn above the Falls of Rauros at the feet of Amon Hen. It was here that the Company of the Ring was broken, and Boromir son of Denethor slain.
