Well.. I agree that I need space, but I can see tons of American teens wrapping and throwing themselves around boys.. eurgh. I hate it when they do that, when it's just a friend of their's.. I don't think that has much to do with space, though. I won't say anything else, as I'm occasionally guilty of that myself. -Menelien

really? Me and my male friends just talk about how other girls with their male friends behave... oh yeah, and we have to odd conversation too. Mostly about gross stuff like teacher pyramids and ways to die. But we keep distances between ourselves. I guess if you're in love then its a different matter, though.

Well space wise (and only when sober) I don't like people being too close to me, especially guys, cause then I feel all crushed and all that. People assume that you're involved with person, so then there's the whole issue I have with that which drives people mad. Under the influence however, it doesn't matter, cause you can hug whoever you want pretty much whenever you want and no one thinks anything of it. EDIT: Squeee! I had the sudden urge to read over some of the Christmas party posts, and it's so odd! It would've been so cool if that many people were still here...we could've had a Halloween party.

But I don't mean my close guy friends, with them we sort of... keep our distance, yeah. But with... less-close guy friends I guess it matters less. I don't know why it is. But I don't find myself occasionally wrapped around people, I swear I don't know how it happens. -Menelien

Yea I know what you mean, but at least with your close friends they know it doesn't mean anything. (In theory) There've been loads of times we've been coming back from a club or gig and will just kinda pair off into girl guy. Not always, but hey, guys are more likely to give you their coat. Well, that was a bit too rambling for my liking... And on a side note- I'm wearing a skirt!!! This never ever happens. The last time I wore one was prom, and before that, we're going back quite a few years to Halloween.

The closest contact I make with my guy friends is when they lean over me to help me with homework (because for some reason they're all geniuses at math) and once I accidentally headbanged with Tom, which is funny because he's nearly twice my height. Oh yeah, and shaking hands... but that's it. I'm a reserved sort of person, though. Mayhap it's just me.
As for skirts- I'm going to Bangkok in five weeks, and I just discovered that I have to wear skirts there, and tops that cover my shoulders and go up to my wrists. I guess its better than going to full anti-monty with a burqa and such... I don't happen to OWN any shirts like that, and I haven't worn skirts since uh... I'll get back to you on that one.

Double-post! Eh... well... I used to be like that, then I decided I could have fun if I wanted to, nobody'd really care anyway. Woah, have fun with those clothes. =P -Menelien

Yaaay , I went abroad today !!! Yah , ... to Lithuania which is only 60km away from Liepaja Dang ... But I plan to go back there sometime again because they have many better cloth shops than we have in Liepaja (but that is about to change I hope) . I even got a hang of calculating their prices in to Latvian money . Plus I had the exclusive chance to be looked at as if I was a freak of some sort for talking in Latvian . Whoo hoo . Fun day . Though now it's raining like the flood of Noah would have started . The whole street behing my window is (with no lying) a pond with no way of crosing it . That's my day today . Oph

Oh no no no, I was eccentric before, now I am just plain crazy. Oh, and my stepdad just got back from Venice (which weirdly enough I just typed as Veinice, Freudian slip methinks) with suspicious vampiric bite marks on his neck. Hehehehehe.

And here I was thinking it was Transylvannia with the vampires. Looks like I played my cards all wrong. Well, I'm going to Venice some time in January, so if you don't hear from me before February, you'll know what's happened.

Yeah, sure, we'll remember... ;D The closest I've very gotten to a guy is when I hugged one of them, the only time I've ever done that. At our church we have this thing called Youth Night, where on the first Sunday of a month, the youth lead worship, and work in the sound booth, and this time we're adding drama. It was the first time we did it, and one of my friends that is like a brother played, and I was very proud of everyone, so I gave him a hug. Lossie probably will read this and laugh.
