Yeah. I got some contacts but I can't stand them, so I'm just waiting to pick up some frames to be made into glasses. I do that on Monday...

My brother has to wear glasses, but he doesn't, because he's a disobedient little wretch. Our entire family were involved in a major car accident nine years ago, and it permanently destroyed vision in his left eye.

Aaah, this is something about manners I don;t understand. Why do you have to apologise?
Unless of course you caused the car crash, then by all means apologise.

I hate glasses. I keep getting annoyed with them cause they get all greasy and it makes a double image type thing. Plus I got hit in the face with a ball yesterday in the glasses and it hurt... I watched Along Came Poly 2day. Good film. I'd recommend it. I also ate FAR too much food... | tari

Got super nice frames today... Dragoneyes: saying "I'm sorry" is just a way to show your sympathy. Yeah, I know that technically I didn't cause the car crash, but I'm still sorry that it happened: Sorry: Feeling or expressing sympathy, pity, or regret: I'm sorry I'm late. other definitions

Along Came Polly? Sheesh, Tari. No offence to your views, but I believe that was the worst movie I've seen this year. ^_^ -Menelien

Meh. I'm a sucker for that kinda film... Had a general studies assembley this morning about personal space. Apparently americans love loads of personal space, whereas the japanese don't need much personal space and find it insulting if you back away from them while talking. | tari

Well, it makes sense. America being so big and all, you have enough room to fulfil your desires for human space. Japan, though is positively tiny, and houses a LOT of people, so it would be pointless if you wanted space, because you'd have to go and kill everybody to achieve it. I just found out that New York City's population is bigger than that of all of Australia where our biggest city comprises of some 3 million people. And Tokyo has about... five times NYC's population! Scary stuff! Let's not forget that Australia's the... seventh or something biggest country in the world. Despite being filled with desert.

That is actually the reasoning behind it. Congrats lordoffools! You are a natural at psycology! | tari *bows* thanks! I knew there was a reason for me to change from biology to psychology next year! Now all I need to worry about is passing my Japanese vocab test tomorrow, my major maths test on Monday, winning the scholarship and passing all my exams! Australians need space. We should stick them all out into the Nullborah Plain or whatever that's called. Lotsa room out there. I'm always surprised when I go to the Footscray market, which is filled with Vietnamese people to see how many people you can squash into those narrow alleys! I like it there, though I do like to have my own private space.

Well.. I agree that I need space, but I can see tons of American teens wrapping and throwing themselves around boys.. eurgh. I hate it when they do that, when it's just a friend of their's..

Lol! tell me about it! You can't get on a train without seeing a few people hanging off each other, even at eight in the morning! Seriously, though, that love isn't made to last-- it's in the science, people.
