I haven't been there in about a week, and I know some of you visit the Downs, so perhaps someone can tell me WHERE IT WENT!!  I tried to get on it today, but my computer kept saying that the website did not exist. What happened to it? Does anyone know? |

Yeah, woah, what the hell happened to the Barrowdowns? Since this morning, I can't get onto the main site or the forum, and when I tried to email Pio at her barrowdowns email address, it was sent back with the message that piosenniel@barrowdowns.com doesn't exist! I tried and my email has vanished as well!
I'm emailing Mithadan now at his other address, so hopefully allowing for time differences, he should be on at about 9:00 pm GMT (ie. British time) which is his lunch time.
What the heck?!

Yup. Still non-existant.
According to Bethberry there are the grand total of three members on the forum. Out of the total of over 5000 active members. Looks like me and you aren't the only ones with problems, Eru.
There were problems with the sever earlier on in the day, Beth says - knowing the Barrow Wight, he'll have it sorted pretty soon. I wouldn't worry.
Ah ha - he's on the forum now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Bad moment for it to happen, though, when Edmund is going to try to run away from home. Don't panic. Stay calm, and it will all be sorted out. Only panic if you find out that while the Downs can be saved for us, we will be unable to see any of the topics that have been posted before we came back. Then you can panic. ;D |

Lossie…. Its lying to you! Don’t believe what the screen say. You see people (hobbits, elves and yes dwarves) Lossie is a perfect example of Barrow-downs sick. She got n her computer this morning and BD wasn’t there… soon she was having illusions that it was there… a mirage! Soon all of us will end up like Lossie… *sigh*

I just hope that it is up and going again soon. I'm about to die to get on again. The Downs is practically the only website I visit while online. I visit others sometimes, but whenever I'm online, I'm on the Downs, and now I feel lost without it. Lol. Wonder if the B-W has any clue at how obsessive the members have grown due to his site.  |
