Greetings Imladris Members,
Yes, some of you are a bit confused as to what is going on! Many are PMing me and asking me what’s up with the new personal titles? Where have some of the boards gone? What other changes are going to be done? Well, I am here to explain it all!
First of all, I am going to keep everyone updated with news (seeing I am the announcer). I haven’t been doing a really good job at it seeing everyone has been sending me these puzzled little PMs. So I promise I will keep you updated! If not you can brutally murder me with one million squeaky hammers (or more if you wish).
What is this about a new admin?
Lol, don’t worry Elentari and I are still admins we just have a new person taking Lossie’s place! Istawen Aeros is one of the sites new admins. It isn’t that much of a change, she just has more power and authority. So I would like to welcome Istawen to the staff and I hope she enjoys her new position!
Where is Lossie?
Let’s just say she is on vacation and won’t be back for a while! I spoke to her the other day and she said she needs to get her life sorted out, then she will be back! She is missing you all terribly and says hi. Hopefully she will be back sooner than we think

What’s up with the Titles?
Yes, you may have realised your personal title has disappear or the title you had before has changed. We have decided to make Imladris a bit more formal (still a happy family) but maybe get back to good topics and have better posts. Of course in ‘Sand Ford Inn’ and ‘Fun and Games’ and other chatty boards you can still go off topic (a bit) and be silly but we are expecting more from you on other more serious boards! But this doesn’t mean we can’t have fun anymore, it just means we need a bit more concentration and devotion. At the end of each month the admins will talk about the members and who has been really good. That person (or those people) will be awarded with a personal title! To have a personal title means you are honoured and on a different level.
Hey! Where did that board go?
Elentari, Istawen and I sat the other night discussing Imladris and what we want for it. We decided we want a close environment, not a big site like BD just close and family like. To achieve the feeling we decided we needed to make Imladris smaller for we had way too many boards just sitting there not being used. We deleted a few and joined others. As you may have noticed it looks neater and fresher! We made the RPG and the debating section smaller too…
What other changes will be done?
Well we are going to try and get other boards more active and post more on them. I am working a lot in fun and games and the debating section while Istawen is working a lot on books… (you must remember she still needs to get her feet on the ground). Elentari is working on the look and other boards. We are still in the process of moving about, creating and changing so we really need you guys to bear with us and help us out where you can. We want to see Imladris alive and full of life again, we can do it together!
Can I help out anywhere?
Yes, you can help us! How? By posting more and being more interactive. We are trying to start new topics and make it all exciting but you guys have clever ideas for topics to so don’t be afraid to put your ideas down! If you have any ideas on anything please PM who of the administers and we will be happy to hear your ideas!
