I'll help, but I'm not really qualified, not being a Mod and all...But here are some award ideas:
- Oldest (as in first) member
- Oldest (as in age) member
- Most chatty
- On Most Often
- Member No. 25....hahahaha
- Bossiest
I know I'll think of more......
Here's a game: every one has a sheet of paper. They write one of the following things on it (in order), don't let anyone see, and fold it down. They pass it to the person sitting next to them. They write the following thing on the list down, fold, pass and it continues on until you have a completly wacky story. Ok, the list:
1. (Girl's name)
2. and (boy's name)
3. went to (a place).
4. There they (an action).
5. He said,"(what did he say?)"
6. and she replied,'(how did she reply)"
7. Then they left for (a place)
8. where they (an action).
9. And the neighbor summed it up by saying,"(how did he sum it up?)"

Sounds fun. I'll try to think of some awards, but if we're going to have dances, I positively insist we have some Irish and Scottish dance. And please don't worry if you don't know it at all. I very much in the dark about the other two dances mentioned.
But as for awards, we should definitely have some awards centered around RPing and FanFics. And I agree with what Dragoneyes said about nominations. We could all PM one of the mods when we get the awards all finished and everything, and the five with the highest amount of votes for each award would be the ones who had the shot at winning the award.
About the worst speller award.... are you sure that wouldn't offend anyone?

May I post a few award ideas? Oh well I'm posting them anyway. ;D How about..... The Most Tolkien Knowledgeable Most Creative Member For stuff to do, maybe we could exchange Christmas presents? The mods could give everyone coming to the party a number and everyone chooses a number and the person whose number they chose they give them a present. That way no one would get 15 presents and another person zero. For dances, how about the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy? But seriously, we need to have a dance to a Beatles song. It just wouldn't be right without it. |
